semi off my hiatus;

just as my title reads, yes, im semi-off my hiatus,
one thing's for sure.
hiatus-ing (gosh. i know im murdering the English Language here.)
seems pretty easy when my days are jam-packed.

**Amanda Lee's Farewell-Aunty Linda's Birthday!**
(which goes in line about how i love DSLR pictures!)

So yes, eons ago, the Praiseland people met up for Amanda Lee Whoohoo's Farewell,
eons, as said. Cause that girl's already in Aussie.
but anyway,
her farewell was a pretty touching one,
where crazy Becca sent her totally in tears!

see? prove!
and btw to all the blindpoks out there,
it reads: my tears and mucus.

then came dinner,
and oh!oh!oh!
we also had a worship session, where Joel the techie actually connected the ppt slides to the telly.

Mighty funny if you ask me,
cause we were staring at the telly for lyrics.
heh.

anyway, dinner --> bridge --> cake!

cake--> eat cake --> take pictures!

with aunty linda and her bday card which included her super OLD SCHOOL picture. hahahaha.

posed or unposed? you decide!

yes, yes. with the amanda and her card (which i reallyreally like. thus far, the favouritest card designed.) (:

and us being kukus, the only reason why we were huddling UNDER her to take a picture is cause we were all too short to outjump her / we jumped at some weird moment cause the picture turned out weirdy.

happy farewell& birthday!
love, Praiseland (:

P.S yes, the abovementioned picture is/was posed.

Well yupp.
So the days have been crazy, my grandad's wake ended on Tuesday,
the wake wouldnt be what i call, conventional.

i mean, the food we had was SUPER (cold dish, curry chicken, sharks fin, duck, fish and what not.)
made it seem like a wedding.

we had flowers EVERYWHERE.
and by that i mean that each table had it's own little flower arrangement,
courtesy of the family.
and yeahh, flower arrangement is FUNNN!
like, when the wake ended, instead of letting the flowers go to waste, my coolios grandaunts were teaching us how to do flower arrangements!
(i'll probably post pictures of the done ones soon.)

we played games.
like, on the 2nd night, we played the thumb game (to clear excess food)
and on the 3rd night, the cousins and aunties played it too,
loser had to clip on peanuts and wear flowers in their hair.

we took pictures.
like. ALOT.
initially i was uncomfortable, pictures... at a funeral?
but yeah, we took pictures.
table shots, group shots, family shot, jump shots,
ALL.

the mood there was... comfortable and celebratory.
Which is awesome frankly,
knowing that my grandad is in HEAVEN,
knowing that he's done with his sufferings here, i guess that allowed the children and the grandchildren to feel happy.

on the other hand, there were tears.
from the very old to the very young,
during the cremation service, even my little cousins,
(lardy and brian) were all sobbing away.

but all in all, i guess the funeral was a very comfortable one,
and IMO, i think my family is veryveryvery cool cause everyone in the family is very warm and loving!
HAHA, yes.

and to the friends (dearest xXon youths, like the most supportive bunch of churchmates- ever.) who supported this family through that time,
thank you veryvery much! (:

alrightey.
i've gotta go plan my lesson observation outline,
type out PL mins,
type out resource lists for PL Sports Day and journal making workshop (ohmygoshh. spaz out max.)
brainstorm for Good Friday,
and.
in the meantime, also try not to spaz out cause,
THE A LEVEL RESULTS ARE COMING OUT SOON!
blah.
