Kids Camp 08'
Awesome. Amazing. Excellent.

aye! Kids Camp is OVERRR.
which is really scary, actually. Cause time is zooming by so quickly, but just a mini-round up, (pics with Sophia Lau Shu Fei!)

Kids Camp all started with Awesome, my group of 6-7 year old boys.
You know what?
The cliched stands, never judge a book by its cover they said, and indeed right!

The boys were cute, but boy! Were they all turbo-charged, just like how Aunty Jennifer describes it;

You take 5 mins to call two children together,
and when you take another five mins to call the other six,
the two run away.

my predicament.

frankly, there were instances where i
a) wanted to cry/ throw myself off the building
b) throw the kids off the building
(HAHAHAHA. kidding.)

but seriously, it's a BIG challenge handling a bunch of hyperactive boys;
nonetheless, it was a great eyeopener- you see the spoilt brats, the intellectual ones, the mummy's boy, the driven ones, and it's an awesome experience.

Then came the girls of Amazing!
Awesome's counterparts, the 6-7 year old girls,
and my Sunshine-Bunny girl, Sammie!

She's the cute-est, bright-est, sunshini-est, friendli-est kid i've ever met,
to be honest, my days in camp were mostly brightened up by the girls, heh.

For instance, while wearing my kueh lapis ring, many kids tend to ask,
Jie Jie Joanne, do you have a boyfriend?
and stuff along this line,
normally, i'll just shake my head and laugh.

but Sammie's answer? Classic.
Jie Jie Joanne doesnt have a boyfriend because she's only Eighteen!
you add that super smart remark with her lovely puppy eyes and bedazzling smile,
duh. im smitten.

actually, EVERY PRAISELAND YOUTH smitten by her!
coolios max.
and FYI. that dear girl is only six.
:)

and okay, special mention goes out to Becca's group, Excellent cause they never fail to amuse me.
You've got the rowdy girl Hannah, the girl with the smouldering gaze and uber cool accent, Hoi Yan, you've got the girl Clarice who puts... get this. NIGHT CREAM.
and yeah, Excellent is my other fave group!

Camp, on the whole was pretty much okay,
i miss the kids though! somewhat. though they threatened to drive me nuts.
A lovely learning experience,
i'm pumped for the next camp!
:)

and oh?
i think our Praiseland ministry rocks.
