and that was the other day over at the Children's Day Service, AND PRETTY BUBBLES.
we totally stole the bubble blowers meant for the kids and it was really fun, going around and blowing bubbles.
Reminds me of my childhood, and my obsession with blowing bubbles. (:
Plus! you could so duel with the other bubble blowers,
ie. see who can blow the biggest, or who can cause the other party to sustain more bubble-blows to the face.
(pun intended. that is, if you get the pun la.)
(gosh. i am such a condescending Lit kid. talk about Cleopatra finding her humanity, in humility. i am so not human enough.)
shucks. to digress, i realise im going wayyy off tangent here.
HAHA. anyway! this was taken during Staff Retreat, and we were at Est's and Valentin's super fun game. i was the wifey, Becca the husbandy, and we were goggled, led far apart from each other, and we had to find each other using voices/ blah.
and then, she had to propose to me.
HAHAHA. i was so extremely estatic when i managed to find her (we were on this Amazing Race thingy you see, not that i want to marry Becca! :))
and i was all "Yes! Yess!!" HAHA. makes me wonder what will happen if someone ever proposes to me.
anyway! we did JUMPSHOTS. hahaha, they were kinda failures though, but but, this one turned out nice, and i aptly titled the photo "Wahh. with the damn cool aunties".
CAUSE THEY ARE DOING THE JUMPSHOT WITH US.

**Farewell Assembly,
Well, we had.. food. yes, alot of food to eat,
and we had this special programme where MR TOH SANG.
hahaha, and actually, he CAN sing. hmm. coolios.
So yeah, the school laid out a buffet/ refreshment spread for the J2s, so we were all congregated in the hall, spent most of our time snapping away though, very retarded shots actually.

as in, flashed while taking pictures you dodo! what were you thinking?!
SofeeeeBegum flashed at them (HAHAHA. sorry, my speech is garbled now.) and i snapped while her shutter went off, hence the whole, flashed effect.
Like they're under this massive spotlight. HEH.

this photo reflects the struggle of every JC kid to squeeze through that narrow door of Junior College into University.
The use of the black and white tone places a greater emphasis on the hardship that students have to face, furthermore, it also serves to highlight the gloom of this period. (SOF. DONT SMILE. okay wait. ALL OF US. DONT SMILE. ) the umm, smiles on the faces of the subjects reflects their "grin and bear it" attitude, and this heightens the sense of their determination to move on to the next stage in life.
HAHA.
