BACK! =)

Well.Well.
Before I actually start blogging, pre post note.
I'll be blogging only snippets of my trip k?
Too lazy. tsktsk.

Right.
Before we left off, my uncle who works with the RSAF gave us walkie talkies.
Walkie talkies are VERY fun to play with.
And without you knowing, till too late, can make you sound like a retard.

Uh.

Me and my cuzzie Rui, were the victims of my aunt's sacarstic comments and stuff.
[funny though]
So we always talked back to her, which made us sound very dumb too, cause our conversation wasnt very highly intelligent.
Mostly my aunts fault.
=)
Anws, after an hour of the trip, I finally realised that everyone could hear our transmissions.
It's alright if the stupidity is kept within the family.
BUT.
My mum's friends were there too, equipped with WT's.

wah. died of embarresment probably,

The place, rather good that there were little people, so it was almost like having the whole place to yourself.
Futhermore, my mom, the die hard PR-ing fan made friends with the staff working there, so I guess they treated us nice.
[Like not spitting into our foods or what.]

BUT.

The pool table sucked.
1. The cues? 2 outta 3 were spoilt. Like missing rubber ends.
2. The table, in a horrible state. The surface was like peeling. tsktsk.
3. The worst problem of all.

A ball was missing!!

Like. How can anyone condone that???

Anws, the second night we went to this firefly thingy, where we would take a boat thru the lake to go see fireflies.
We had a really good driver, he allowed us to catch fireflies, but not before ramming the boat into the trees to make all of them startled and fly into our boat.
veryvery fun.

Oh. Another highlight of my trip, we went to Kota's waterfall, where we swam there.
The place was eh... okay I guess.
If not for the fishes in the water, it could have been better.

I hate. wait.
HATE fishes.

Oh yes. There also, this lady pissed me off.
Me and my bro were attempting to play volleyball, when i accidently whacked the ball a lil too hard and it flew off the highr ground that I was standing on.
So the ball fell off.

As a person with common sense.
What would you do?

[Senario: The ball flew off the edge and landed on a slope downwards]

1. Pick up the ball and throw it back to me?

2.Look at the ball and give me a smile??

Like OBVIOUSLY 1 RIGHT?

ahhhhhh. But not for this Malaysian [I must stress] lady.
She chose option 2 instead.

Craziness. So I had to run all the way down just to pick up a stupid ball, when she could have just bended down and pick up the ball!

Nevermind her.
Over there, I bought bracelets too.
[Im so in love with em.]

Pretty wooden-beaded bracelets going for 4 for 10 ringgit.
A major steal.
Considering the fact that I saw an identical one going at $8 at Xcraft.

Okay, nothing more.

Oh yes. Before I talk bout what happened at the S'pore customs, I must say.

I LOVE SHANDY.

esp the ones you get in Malaysia.

Right. Shandy. That brings me to what hapened at the Customs.

Our car drove through the nothing to declare lane, but the officer stopped to check us.
[As they were doing for every car]
But then. We got stopped by the immigration officers.
Because of our shandy.
So we were directed to this other lane, along with my Swedish uncle's car. =)
[Notorious no? We had two cartons plus 3 loose cans. They had 2 cartons plus 2 six-packs]

So in the car, left alone, we [me,bro, cuzzie] started talking.
First we talked bout the Gurkhas.

Correct me if im wrong, but as said by my cuzzie, gurkhas are highly trained people but once they finish their service in S'pore, they arent allowed to stay here.
Cause the Govt doesnt want them to be enterwined [no wait. HOW DO YOU SPELL IT???] entwined?, in the countries political affairs.
Esp if that triggers them to go assainate the President or something.

Gurkhas. Need to wear their hats properly.
Or maybe its in the uniform [like the beret], but a hat tilted sideways is not exactly nice.

Anyway, there it was rather tense, our parents were gone for pretty long, and we were talking bout what was happening.
What would happen?
Shandy get confiscated? Fines of $500?

About ten mins later, my parents returned.
My mum smiling away.
I guess she was relieved or what?
So we probed.

It turns our that we only had to pay taves of $14.50.

Actually we could have been fined for not declaring goods.
But my mum played the ignorant party, and pretended that she did not know that we were supposed to declare shandy.
[I mean seriously, I did not even know that]

But on the darker side.
[Like brighter side for good things.. you get me?]
My dad has a record, so everytime we come back form Malaysia, we'll get checked.
*waves bye to bro's pirated PS' games*

And oh, a couple of laws you guys might wanna know.

Any form of alchohol, in this case even shandy [like a measly 1%] has to be declared.
And grocery's.
If you are in Malaysia for one day- Max. $50
two days- $100
BUT.
The maximum amount you can spend in the total trip, is $300.

Hope that helps. haha...

By the way, the reason why every car got checked, as I speculate, is that there was some kind of drug tip off or wha.
Pretty cool.
If only we saw someone get caught.
haha...
Alrightey. Good night!!!

Can you believe I have to go to band tmr?? ah. damn.
